Kids Haircut FAQs
What ages count for the kids price?
The $30 kids price is for children 12 and under. Teens 13 and up are booked as a regular $40 men's haircut. Both get the same 45-minute appointment, so there is plenty of time to do the cut properly.
Do you cut girls' hair?
Yes, for shorter styles. One of our reviews is from a mom whose 12-year-old daughter wanted a short cut with a soft, feminine shape, and she left thrilled. If you're unsure whether a style is right for a barber shop, call us and ask.
Can you cut curly kids' hair?
Yes. Our barbers are experienced with curly hair and happy to take it on. Curls are cut differently than straight hair so they keep their shape and don't puff out. Mention it when you book so we can plan the time.
My child is scared of haircuts. Can you help?
We can. We go slowly, let kids see and hear the tools first, and never force it. Coming in at a quiet time helps a lot. Weekday mornings are usually calmer than Saturdays. Call ahead and we'll suggest a good time.
Do kids need an appointment?
Not always. Walk-ins are welcome, and families do come in without booking. For a first visit or a nervous child, an appointment is better because there is no waiting around. You can book online in about a minute.
